Quad Sets

    • • Prop heel on cryo-cuff canister or rolled up towel
    • • Contract your quadricep muscle as tight as possible.
    • • Hold each contraction for five seconds
    • • Perform this exercise 10 times.


    Straight Leg Raises

    • • Prop heel on cryo-cuff canister or rolled up towel
    • • Tighten your quadricep muscle and lift your heel of the canister
    • Perform this exercise 10 times.


    Towel Stretches

      • • Place a towel around foot
      • • Hold the ends of the towel with one hand while the other hand holds your thigh down on the bed.
      • • Pull heel off bed using the towel.
      • Perform this exercise 10 times.


      Heel Slides

      • • Place both hands around thigh.
      • • Pull on your thigh, sliding your heel back toward your buttocks.
      • • Return to starting position and repeat.
      • • Perform this exercise 10 times.


      Lock Backs

      • • Stand with weight equally distributed on both legs.
      • • Contract your quadricep muscle and push your knee back
      • • Perform this exercise 10 times.


      Vertical Heel Slides

      • • Lay down on your back with your foot resting on a wall.
      • • Slowly slide your foot down the wall.
      • • Use your other leg to return your foot to the starting position.
      • • Perform this exercise 10 times.
